Foreshadowing is the use of clues to hint at future events in a story. It can be used in both books and movies. Which clip from The Dark Knight(Christopher Nolan) uses foreshadowing?
The first clip is the one that uses foreshadowing. The most important part of that clip was when Harvey Dent said, "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." That was exactly what happened to him later in this movie. When someone close to him was killed and he himself gravely injured, Harvey let his grief and anger take control of him and became the infamous Batman villain Two-Face.
